The Riverside and San Bernardino county registrars of voters were
reporting unofficial but final Election Day vote totals by early
Wednesday.
Those totals include all vote-by-mail ballots received before
Election Day, and totals from 100 percent of precincts in the counties.
But Riverside County still has about 39,700 votes to count, and San
Bernardino County has about 36,500. The majority of those were from
vote-by-mail ballots dropped off on Election Day. Provisional ballots,
damaged ballots and ballots from overseas and military voters also have
to be counted.
The Riverside County registrar’s website said the office would
release its next update by 6 p.m. Thursday. The San Bernardino County
registrar’s website said is next update will come at 4 p.m. Thursday.
